Zainab is the President of MALA, and has moderated and spoken at panels at the United Nations’ General Assembly; 2016 Conference on World Affairs; UN Commission on the Status of Women; World Affairs Council in Atlanta; TedX; and George Washington University. She coordinates MALA’s Muslim American Journeys with StoryCorps nationwide.

Through a series of interviews and social experiments, The People’s Girls takes a closer look at who is to blame, as well as how women are fighting back.
