This event will feature episode 6 from the series Latino Americans, “Peril & Promise,” which emphasizes the theme of Latino civic engagement. These are valuable stories, but Chicago’s Latino communities often get overlooked in these national narratives.
Because of this, the panel discussion that follows the documentary will provide a forum for local leaders to tell their stories about art and activism in the Windy City.

This fourth installment of a series of programs about the past, present and future of Latinos in the United States is presented in partnership with the Segundo Ruiz Belvis Cultural Center.
