A Road Scholar Program by Dan Haughey
CIVIL WAR MELODIES! with inspired home-corn-humor makes a good campfire show! As a starchy dry troubadour, Dan Haughey spices up the occasion with some down-home humor, as well as bitter-sweet reflections related to selected tunes. In under an hour, you get the best of the North and South. Guitar and vocal solos are mixed with audience participation with a light touch of historical narrative and fun sing-alongs. Some included tunes are, “The Battle Cry of Freedom,” “Jimmy Crack Corn,” “Goober Peas,” “Dixie,” and more! This show fits all age groups. Contact Dan if you are interested in the full song list. This is a fun show for audiences, for either indoor or outdoor venues. *Scenic PowerPoint slide show accompanies the show. An off-white neutral wall or small screen desirable (slide show enhances the experience but is optional). Please contact us for technical coordination, and/or visit Technical Rider at our website especially if your venue is more than 300 miles from the Quad Cities, Moline, Illinois.
This event is Free and Open to the public. For more information, please contact Colette Freeman at firstname.lastname@example.org.
